Horween's premier Shell Cordovan, cut from the inverted side where the dyeing process gets weird in the best possible way, blooming into deep swirling pools of oxblood, amber and near-black that shift in the light like someone turned a lava lamp into a bag handle. We stared at them for an uncomfortable amount of time.

We're calling them Lava Lamp Shell Cordovan. Because woah…the colors man. The colors. 7 exist. Each one completely its own thing. We can't recreate these…Horween's dyeing process does what it wants and answers to no one. When they're gone they're gone. These are truly, truly special.

Horween's dyeing process is part craft, part controlled chaos — which means every gripper that comes out of it carries its own unique markings, colorations and personality that can never be exactly replicated.
